I am a doctoral candidate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and expect to receive my PhD in Political Science in May of 2025.
My subfield is American Politics and I am interested in environmental politics, interest groups, and nonprofit work.
My primary interest lies in teaching; by May of 2025 I will have accumulated ten semesters of teaching experience at the university level. I am interested in developing courses on environmental politics, environmental studies, and institutions.
I have a research agenda focused on interest group alliances. My dissertation work analyzes coalitions of environmental nonprofits through interviews, social media data, and archival work. I am also working on another paper about structure versus behavior in multi-site conservation groups such as the Sierra Club or the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
You can find my current CV here. A description of my teaching record and four sample syllabi can be found in the “teaching” tab at the top of the page.
